Sex, Relationship and Sometimes Love
The past three weeks have been insanely busy! I would show up at work early and leave early every day to go to rehearsal at the 45th street theater, then I would rehearse for three hours, and then I would try and go on auditions and other things. This past Friday was the last show of Sex, Relationships and Sometimes Love at the 45th Street Theater and I had a great time with the cast. The show was hilarious and everyone did a great job. My monologue was called "Beat Up" and it was the type of piece that could either bring the house down or bomb horribly. Luckily I succeeded using a Clint Eastwood in "Gran Torino" like voice, screaming my monologue for about 3 minutes straight. It was basically about this gruff woman bragging about her sexual encounters at a bar (way too loudly) when she notices a man listening in and she threatens to do horrible things to him when he won't stop eavesdropping. The entire cast was very talented and we had a great time after the show on Friday celebrating.
The image to the right is me featured in one of the other monologues (not my crazy character in "Beat Up")

Saw the play and it was all really out there but your scene in the bar was crazy!! You really rocked it! Brave performance that had me crying I was laughing so hard.
