Today was a really busy day filled with auditions! It started with a 10 AM audition for a print campaign followed by a 12 PM audition for the show "Happy Hour" produced and directed by Michael Horn and based on the book of monologues "Sex, Relationships....and Sometimes Love" by Joelle Arqueros.
After watching Michael rehearse with actors for a few minutes he explained his process of working and also about the play a bit. It's a rotating cast with actors coming in and out of the different roles.
After talking with Mr. Horn he invited me back to the theater later this afternoon to rehearse with other actors already cast in the show. I was very excited and was offered a part in the production and actually began rehearsing today. The show goes up on September 18th, 8:15 PM at the 45th Street Theater and I would love to see everyone there. Tix are $25, off-off-Broadway show, you can buy them at smarttix.com.
